If traveling to Altoona via Interstate 99:
Take the 17th Street exit and proceed about 1 mile into Altoona past the Altoona Public Library. (There will be many red lights! Be in the left lane.) When you arrive at Seventh Avenue, turn left (it's one-way). Proceed past Bon Secours Hospital on your right. Eventually Seventh Avenue becomes two-way as it merges with and becomes Sixth Avenue. Continue on Sixth Avenue until you arrive at 41st Street. Turn left onto 41st Street (at Folcarelli Supply). You'll see the Red Cross Chapter House to your right.
If traveling to Altoona via US Route 22:
Take PA Route 764 North into Altoona. Follow this road for about 3 miles; it becomes Sixth Avenue. You'll pass WTAJ TV-10 on your left. Continue on Sixth Ave. for several blocks, going over a small hill. After you pass 84 Lumber on your left and Folcarelli Supply on your right, turn right onto 41st Street. You'll see the Red Cross Chapter House to your right.
If traveling to Altoona via PA Route 36:
Proceed into Altoona via Route 36.
If you're arriving from the south, continue on Logan Boulevard from the Pleasant Valley Shopping Center for 0.7 mile. (Be in the left lane.) You'll pass Baker Elementary School on your left, the Donut Connection on your right, and Fisher Auto Supply on your left. Turn left onto Burgoon Road and proceed to Sixth Avenue. Turn left onto Sixth Avenue. Continue on Sixth Avenue until you arrive at 41st Street. Turn left onto 41st Street (at Folcarelli Supply). You'll see the Red Cross Chapter House to your right.
