Welcome to the Horseshoe Amateur Radio Club Examiners (HARCE) exam information page. The purpose of this site is to provide information about our VE team, publicize our exam schedule, and provide license candidates with some useful information and an opportunity to pre-register for an upcoming exam session. |
Visitors:
HARCE will conduct an ARRL/VEC amateur radio exam session on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Red Cross Chapter House (4100 Fifth Ave., Altoona) beginning at 9:00 AM. All exam elements will be offered. The examination fee is $15 . Pre-registration is requested, but walk-ins will be welcome.
All license candidates must bring the following documents:
1) At least one form of photo ID
2) Your current ORIGINAL FCC-issued license
3) Any ORIGINAL CSCE’s you wish to apply toward exam credit
4) Photocopies of your current license and any CSCE’s you wish to use
5) Current exam session fee ($15 )
In addition, all new license candidates will need to know their Federal Taxpayer Identification Number (SS#) in order to file paperwork with the FCC.
License candidates who require any special accommodations due to a handicap or disability should pre-register several weeks prior to the exam in order for us to prepare for the accommodation.
